Hi all

Well I'm so excited today on what the Postie brought me.

I recently made a purchase from

ooooh they have such a gorgeous selection of crafts for cards and scrapbooking. You can find them here.

I found them via Bev, the most inspirational designer I've found to date. Man her cards are just to die for. I found her here.

Here's what I bought, mmmmmm so scrummy. Can't wait to add them to my pages and cards.

Off to do chores.

Productive Weekend of Sorts

Evening all,

Been rather a busy weekend on the home front.

  • Shortbread made (check)
  • Lemon & Poppyseed muffins made (check)
  • Peach muffins made (check)
  • Food shopping (check)
  • Bathroom & Toilet cleaned (check)
  • Scrapbooked (4 pages) (check)
  • Vacuumed (check)
  • Washing (check)
  • Rabbits walked and hutch cleaned (check)
  • Watched a "tear jerking" DVD - "Dear John ... " (highly recommend)
Below are the pages I've accomplished.

Jess and Rose and a friends son Tom feeding the pidgeons at The Domain. Tom would hold out the bread and let the pidgeons land on his arm and eat from his hand. Jess & Rose weren't brave enough to do so, I don't blame them. EWWW!

Jess had a couple of friend stay over for Halloween in 2008. Sam (in the green witch's hat), Jess in the devil's outfit "being a devil" and rose in witch outfit with broom. They went "trick or treating" throughout the neibourhood and brought back lots of goodies.

Jess and Rose climbing a "Big" tree at The Domain.
And (below) hanging with Sam.

Rich was drenching the girls with buckets of water, wasn't quite summer. So was RATHER COLD!!!

Aw cute, love the look on Rose's face :)

Interesting times ahead ~ Challenges thrown in the mix too

Good evening all,

Well our family has some interesting times ahead of us. My husband's company went into receivership yesterday, and will more than likely be liquidated. We are unsure of our stance in the company and are being left in the dark by head office overseas. Only time will tell what the outcome will be ....

Anyway to ease the nerves I made a card tonight for a challenge or two ...

Mo's DP2 Challenge 'Christmas in July'
Little Red Wagon 'Christmas in July'
Stamp Something: 'Christmas in July'
Our Creative Corner: 'Christmas in July'
Digi Doodle Shop's Best: 'Punch or Cut Me ... Challenge #18'

This layout is from this week's Dare U 2 Digistamp sketch challenge:

The image is from the delightful Mo Manning.

I've coloured her with Copics, used my Nesties, Cuttlebug snow die and Martha Stewart punch, with a little Kindy Glitz for a bit of sparkle.
