Watched a "tear jerking" DVD - "Dear John ... " (highly recommend)
Below are the pages I've accomplished.
Jess and Rose and a friends son Tom feeding the pidgeons at The Domain. Tom would hold out the bread and let the pidgeons land on his arm and eat from his hand. Jess & Rose weren't brave enough to do so, I don't blame them. EWWW!
Jess had a couple of friend stay over for Halloween in 2008. Sam (in the green witch's hat), Jess in the devil's outfit "being a devil" and rose in witch outfit with broom. They went "trick or treating" throughout the neibourhood and brought back lots of goodies.
Jess and Rose climbing a "Big" tree at The Domain.
And (below) hanging with Sam.
Rich was drenching the girls with buckets of water, wasn't quite summer. So was RATHER COLD!!!
Amy is celebrating a milestone. Just a little over a year ago she decided to track her paper usage for her cards she's been making. She has reached 1000 and then some, now that's ALOT of paper!
You wanna see what a 1000 sheets of paper looks like??
If you blog hop over to Amy's blog she's celebrating her milestone with a GIVE AWAY ~ she's giving away 1000 sheets of 6x6 Paper and stamps. All you have to do is go over to her blog copy the image and post about her giveaway onto you blog and leave a comment on her blog.
Simple huh! Well get a crack on, what you waiting for??
Good news on the home front ~ hubby has work for the next 4 months anyway, then after that we'll see what the outcome will be, fingers crossed he doesn't lose his job right on Christmas xx
My weee girl (well she's nearly 11, but still my baby) has a big swollen finger. She went to catch a ball yesterday at school and her finger bent back and went "click".
Thursday night we enrolled her into Intermediate School
And today I enrolled Jess (my middle child) into High School. They're growing up so fast
I went to scrapbooking today, I managed to make a card in which I'll be entering into a few challenges.
And when I got home I made a great looking fruit cake, hubby's fav!!
Well our family has some interesting times ahead of us. My husband's company went into receivership yesterday, and will more than likely be liquidated. We are unsure of our stance in the company and are being left in the dark by head office overseas. Only time will tell what the outcome will be ....
Anyway to ease the nerves I made a card tonight for a challenge or two ...
I get up 5.45am Monday-Friday. Shower, make lunches, organise the girls, tidy the benches and we're out the door into the hustle and bustle of the traffic (music goes down for the drive, a selection of our favourite CDS) for our busy, busy day. After school there's homework, housework, errands to run and playing with the animals, fitting in time for coffee here and there. Every other weekend I get to spend time with my hubby while the girls go to their father's.
In my spare time, I love to scrapbook, make cards, read, catch up with friends, share my interests with other like minded people, catch a good movie, and spend time with my beloved and lovely kiddly winks, (well on a good day they are that!!)
I'm a stickler for my routine and don't cope with a lot of change, not too good with crowds.
Am one to stick things out without too much complaint.
Thanks for joining me on my blogging journey and sharing with me your ideas and creations.
