Soooo Excited, another challenge for me, On a roll

Good evening,

not sure if I should be excited, but I'm so happy with the outcome of my card for the DP2 Challenge #37. Below is my card.

The unfortunateness of my card is that it is for my dear friend who is having such a rough time of it. Her mother had a stroke yesterday and she's about to lose her job ;( My thoughts are with you my dear xx

OKAYYYY here goes, there's no looking back

I'm entering my very first challenge today. I'm determined to do it no matter what.

Woke this morning with an ear ache, the pain whenever I move my jaw. But that wasn't going to stop me from entering.

I'm entering the Penny Black Saturday Challenge ... Week 107

using papers to create a patchwork quilt effect. Below is my interpretation of this week's challenge. The image I used was from the Penny Black Critter Party Pack of stamps. It was so hard choosing an image, as I've just bought this pack and they're all so scrummy.

And it certainly was a challenge, but enjoyable none the less.

It's another Saturday, and we'll all like to party!!

Well it's just another Saturday night in the Gill/Hogan household.

Rose sent to bed early for the constant answering back, when will that girl learn, so strong willed.

Jess in my scrap room watching a movie, me here blogging and sharing with you my latest creations.

Rich on his laptop playing Risk, a game of conquering territories of continents around the world, sound like a lot of fun, ah NOT. Well it is if you're playing REAL LIFE people and not just randoms.

I was a lucky wee girl tonight, Rich made us homemade pizzas. They were glorious, lots of salami and ham and red peppers, MMM.

Below are a couple of cards I've made this week using my copics, cuttlebug and a spot of sewing. I'd like to get to the stage where I'm good enough to enter a few challanges. Once I've done a bit more practice I intend to do an online class with Suzanne Dean, she does such fabulous work.

Anyway here's my cards, just remembering these are only my second and third cards using copics.

Firsts for everything!!

Good evening to you all

Well I'm definately glad it's Friday!!

Woke with a blood shot eye and left side of head and behind my eye are very sore. Been a rather trying day. Managed to stay at work the whole day, and surprisingly enough I got quite a bit done.

I'd like to share my latest creation with you.

I dragged my sewing machine out from my wardrobe and dusted it off (and my skills too). Loaded up the bobbin and threaded machine, all from memory.

I sewed cardstock together for a card (Very much a first for me).

Another first for me. I've invested in a few colours of the copic marker range.
I'd like to learn to blend them and many other ladies do on "blogger".

I stamped a Penny Black hedgehog and coloured him my new copics.

Below is my creation, for a first I'm quite chuffed.

I must have an early night, try and recover from my sore head and eye.
